Liberation through creativity and trauma informed practices

ABOUT ME

I am a therapist, art therapist, EMDR provider, art educator and maker.

In private sessions and group offerings I help people access their voices through creative practice. This helps them to unravel habitual patterns born out of trauma- both the trauma in their lives &  the trauma that is inflicted by the systems at large.

I am Interested in igniting the revolution from within, one that has the possibility to  move out and create collective change in the tangible world. I work with people towards liberation that is accessible, essential and collective.

WORKING TOGETHER

As an artist and therapist I am passionate about creativity as a path of liberation.

While many people hear the word “artist” and assume this work is not for them because they don’t perceive themselves as creative, I can’t emphasize enough that there is no experience required to engage with this work, only the desire and willingness to do so.

Through practicing art making, and listening to our intuition, we learn and begin to internalize that there are a multitude of ways to bring expression to life and often the magic is in the mess. Curiosity and play are their own gifts. It is not about finished products, but your work may become beautiful to you and you will learn techniques.

I work with people primarily in private 1:1 therapy sessions, and offer both 1:1 and group supervision for therapists.

I also offer a number of group gatherings for specific explorations, and am available to bring this group work to organizations and corporations as well.
